Copy to clipboard

Copy display to clipboard

To copy the current spectrum display into the Windows clipboard, press CTRL+C, or use the ‘Edit→Copy to clipboard’ menu option, shown below:

After using the ‘copy to clipboard’ option, the spectrum window adds a metafile image of the current display to the Windows clipboard. You may then paste the image into a word processor or image program using their respective ‘paste’ functions.

Copy text to clipboard

To copy the spectrum data to the clipboard for use in spreadsheet applications, left-click on the spectrum legend item (as shown below), and then select the ‘Copy text to clipboard’ context menu item.

After using the ‘copy text to clipboard’ option, the spectrum data will be added to the Windows clipboard in tab delimited text format. You may then paste the data into spreadsheet programs using their ‘paste’ functions.
