To load a pre-existing table of peak positions/heights/widths/etc. from a peak table file, select the ‘Peak fitting→Load peak table’ menu option. This will open a file opening window, in which you may select the peak table file to open. Peak table files are stored as comma separated text files, with a file extension of ‘.csv’.
To save the current peak table as a file, select the ‘Peak fitting→Save peak table’ menu option. This will open a file saving window, in which you may select the name of the peak table file to be saved. The peak table is saved as a comma separated text file, with a file extension of ‘.csv’. These files may be opened in popular spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel.
The peak table is stored as a comma separated value text file (.csv), which – aside from a small file header – is a direct copy of the values in the Peak table window. The current peak table file format looks like:
xutil_SpecViewFit peak table FileVersion:,1 x-axis:,eV nPeaks:,3 Name,Pos,Fit,Height,Fit,FWHM,Fit,G/L,Fit,Colour ,3.03977,1,89.894,1,0.707087,1,1,1,5050DC ,2.38978,1,61.5315,1,0.759407,1,1,1,50DC50 ,3.62354,1,15.8166,1,0.276534,1,1,1,DC5050
